| Can someone please explain to me what is supposed to happen with the apparition feature? Every time I press B, the screen goes completely white, and when it returns to me on the beach, I'm unable to move/access any menus. |

Huh weird I've never had that happen.
You really only want to press "B" when your eyes are closed. When you "close your eyes" you'll notice a letter "A" on the screen, and if you pan around, you'll also notice a letter "B".
This is when you want to press "B". |

I think you're running into a bug that has been solved in the mean time.
Apparitions are objects in the world. Look in their direction and then close your eyes. Then you see a "B" that you can click. |
