Has anyone seen "into the woods"? its a musical by Stephen Sondheim, and it's a corker. It also interrogates fairytales, the first act being the more traditional story, and the second exploring what "happily ever after" might ACTUALLY look like. I ask because the Red Riding Hood character is a lead role, and makes heavy reference to the (according to some) psycho-sexual connotations. The American broadway production even featured sculpted muscular wolf with genetalia as costume. unfortunately i could find no online images to support this, but it's a great costume, and a great production overall. It's not DIRECTLY related to The Path, but it's another interpretation of the story.

Note, wikipedia not a legitimate academic resource, but an incredibly effective cultural litmus test as regards to the wired world's consensus on any given topic

I haven't seen it.
Thanks for the tips, though.
Perhaps there's a film of it somewhere?

there's a dvd, but i know my local video store doesn't have it. I only learned how to hyperlink two posts ago. Also, purely due to the joy of knowledge, I recently learnt at Uni that (in Australia, at any rate, and hopefully other places) you could claim the purchase of such a DVD as a tax deduction because it is research related to primary income stream (i.e. making arts).

Sorry, it's nearing term's end, and i'm all adrenaline-fueled owing to finishing off an essay in which your projects have once again played an integral part.
