Nope. It's still not working. (It might just be because I don't have Vista)
Although, I did find someone who wasn't registered! But he/she didn't move at all! It was really weird... |

A: Go to the Start Menu and select "Run...". Then type dxdiag and enter. Then wait a bit. A diagonostics tool for DirectX will open with information about your system. Check the Display section. The date of your drivers should be there. If they are old, check the website of the manufacturer to find newer ones.
Could You give me a little more explaination? Im not English and Im having some trouble understanding (main problem is that my computer isnt in english). Ive been having this exact problem. The problem is that I dont know what exactly Im supposed to "Run".
Greetings, Syrra. |

I love Endless Forest! I can run it fine when I launch the program but I had a hard time running it as a screensaver. When I tried to let it run as a screensaver I get and error that says:
[quotethere was an error loading the q3d file C:\Program Files\Tale of Tales\The Endless Forest 3\q3dstart.q3d[/quote]
My program folder was named "Programs" and not "Program Files," so adding TEF to a folder called "Program Files" did the trick. Can this be added to the FAQ? I can't be the only clueless soul with this problem |

Drivers from 2007 are ancient!
Go to http://ati.com to get new ones.
Or, if your computer is a laptop, the manufacturers website. |

Hello... well, I have a problem. It just cant connect to the server for some reason. I tried to close uTorrent and I tried both 3.30 and 3.21 versions. But it's the same - it says 'Connection status: Error'. But also it says that there are 40 players connected (and 30 on v3.21). Is this the limit of how many players may connect at one time? But it's not mentioned anywhere, that there is such a limit. |

The current limit is 100 simultaneous users. Usually when you can't connect, it's because something is stopping the game on your end. A firewall, for instance. |

alright, i figured this was the best place to post.
so, i've had the problem with pictographs spreading. i've ALWAYS had a problem with them spreading. when i first downloaded tef a while ago i hardly ever played it and so never reported it, but i would rather like to get this sorted out.
i'm lucky to be able to get it to work once a day. do i just need to wait a while and try again? because it happens all the time. is it my computer? |

This is similiar to the glitch with the deer having the same pictogram as you,
Many of the deer (not all of them) in the forest are appearing with this pictogram, and it's difficult to tell them apart.
I'm not sure whether the original pelt is part of the glitch or whether deer are also appearing with this pictogram but spelled pelts.
Can anyone help with this? I think I might have blanked more than one friend as I didn't recognise their picto |

Just got an answer to the above question after browsing through the community site.
For anyone else experiencing this, apparently that is Michael's pictogram.
"It's a glitch. Michael thinks his picto got lodged in the programming on accident. They're just nameless."
Can you tell I'm a very new user? |

You know, I'm going to add that question to the top of this board, because it is a pretty bad glitch! I'm glad you were able to figure it out though. |
